Every now and again, I watch the show Gold Rush, where modern-day American’s seek their fortune go gold prospecting in Alaska.  Many of them have left their families, spent thousands of dollars because of the hope of striking it rich in gold.

Well, I am on a quest for gold myself, but I was not prepared to ‘rough it’, spend thousands of dollars to live in squalor, spending on prospecting equipment when I could cash in on the gold rush from the comfort of my home.

When the economic crash hit and my real estate investments tanked, my 401K went on life support, and my husband got laid off from his job – the only thing that held its value and even put direct pressure on the arterial bleed of the others, was my gold.  This gave a whole new appreciation to the catch phrase “as good as gold!”  Gold was indeed good. Very, very good; and I wanted more of it.

Well, I am not about to put on my waist high boots, but I did tighten my boot straps and jumped into the gold rush the only way that felt right to me.  I researched and found the perfect gold opportunity – right here in the good ole USA!

Gold Prospecting the Easy Way

For less than $500 I was now the proud owner of my own gold and silver online store, an American Eagle silver coin MS70 perfect grade numismatic (Cool huh! An asset I own that is a tax write off SAMPLE).  No rent to pay.  No inventory expense to stock the shelves.  No staff holding out their hands for a check from me, and much more.  Instead, I could travel and periodically check my back office for any sales or leads for sales that had come in while I played or did ordinary stuff, like ate dinner.

I also saw my own personal stash of gold and silver assets increase.  With a steady purchase from my own store at a discount, I could very discreetly purchase my assets, increase my net worth without anyone knowing.

I fancy myself a gold prospector. I may not get dirty, but I have am gold prospecting the easy way; making money with gold and from gold.  I exchange money (cash) for alternative money (gold and silver), and make more money (asset value appreciation, and sales income, and residual income).  Gold is certainly  where I get my rush!
